Written by a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, DABS’ leaflets speak with warmth and compassion to those who’ve been hurt and confused by the effects of abuse in their lives. With the wisdom of experience, they offer hope and understanding, as well as valuable practical advice.

Expanded and updated, each leaflet includes relevant, up-to-date phone numbers and suggestions to help your client take the next step in their healing journey.

Having support from friends, family and medical professionals is essential for any person considering a claim. DABS National Resource Directory lists over 500 services in the UK & Ireland, which specialise in working with childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, childhood abuse, domestic violence and related issues. DABS Directory is updated twice a year for maximum accuracy, and includes SARCS, Rape Crisis Centres, Survivor organisations, self-help groups, and many other specialist groups and organisations. It covers services for women, men, children, parents and workers. Details of the hours of operation, the services offered, and any restrictions are given. Indexes make it easy to find more specialist information, such as organisations offering supported accommodation or training, minicom or newsletters, or services for men or for young people.
