The ISIS at is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC), a one-stop location where female & male victims of rape and sexual assault can receive medical care and counselling. The ISIS provides holistic and specialist medical and forensic care, responsive to victims needs, aiming to minimise the risk to physical and mental well-being and to aid recovery. On-going care needs are discussed during the victims visit to the centre and assistance is provided via community based services and through ISVAs (Independent Sexual Assault Advisers).
