TAG provides a website, newsletter, information, support, training and networking for counsellors, therapists, professional workers, carers and indeed anyone who is concerned with supporting individuals in recovery from neglect, trauma and abuse. As a group TAG acknowledge the contribution of survivors to increased understanding in this area and respect the great value of their insights.

The steering group for TAG arose from a working group set up by the Association of Christian Counsellors to provide training guidelines for counsellors working with survivors of ritual or extreme childhood abuse, particularly with dissociative disorders including Dissociative Identity Disorder.
