Luton Women's Aid runs 4 safe houses within the Luton area, one of which is a specialised Asian refuge, for women, with or without children, escaping domestic abuse. We provide a help line Mon-Fri 10am-5pm for women wishing to discuss their options or how they may be feeling. We can see women face-to-face who wish further emotional support at a safe place chosen by the women. We have a secure town centre place where women can visit, providing coffee lounge, internet room, specialised library, bric a brac room, exercise space and restful room. We provide an On Call service 8pm-6.00am 7 days a week, for Luton women only, to provide a safe place for one night when abuser has not been arrested. This service is contactable through police, Samaritans and social services.

Luton Women's Aid is part of RESPECT which is the umbrella organisation assisting perpetrators programmes gain accreditation and provides a help line for men.
