BACP is the largest counselling & psychotherapy membership organisation in the UK. It has developed standards for counsellors via accreditation schemes for individuals, services and trainings. It produces an on-line directory of counsellors via the website and local lists can also be sent on request. BACP promotes counselling & psychotherapy and publishes journals both in specialist settings, general therapy and research.
