A nurse-led service aimed at young people, up to 17 years old, who have been admitted to district general hospitals, or presented at A&E departments, following an incident of self-harm. The nurses have specialist training and are experienced in listening to and enabling young people to address their difficulties. The service is tailored to suit each individual and is offered in a number of ways and setting, eg. home, clinic, school, etc.
